Fans were shocked to hear the news.
Sean Lowe Speaks Out On The ‘Hard’ Diagnosis Process
Sean Lowe has spoken out on the hard process it has been after his son was diagnosed. There are a lot of things that they have to do that they didn’t before. Isaiah does not like getting shots, but he has to in order to stay healthy.
“The hardest part, outside of that, is just kind of the acknowledgement that his freedom to snack as he pleases or go to a friend’s house and have lunch, like, he can’t do that anymore. We have to stay on top of his carbs and insulin and all that stuff. But what we keep being told over and over again is it will become normal. It’s the new normal, and he’s doing great. Hates the shots, but as soon as he gets the shot, he’s back to his old tricks.”
This is a big learning curve for the family. There are things that Isaiah could do that he can’t anymore. However, it is a good thing that they caught this so they could get it figured out as soon as possible. Isaiah has not let this dim his light.
It seems as though Isaiah is having a hard time with having to get so many shots. However, fans do not blame him, as this would be hard for any kid. This has been hard on Sean and Catherine, though. They want to make everything better, but the only way to do that is to give him his shots and watch his diet. They know this will get easier, but it is difficult right now.
