The Giants are going to select the contract of infielder Eddys Leonard, reports Francys Romero of BeisbolFR. The Giants traded six players on deadline day and then activated five guys to fill those spots, so they played last night’s game a man short. They have one opening on the active roster and three on the 40-man, so no corresponding move will be required for this move.
