Kathie Lee Gifford Mourned Her Late Husband
When Kathie Lee Gifford was on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, she gushed about her family life. She discussed her children, Cody and Chastity, and her husband, Frank Gifford. This gave way for family chatter on the show, which Kelly Ripa has become infamous for. Kathie Lee moved on to the Today Show in 2008 and co-hosted alongside Hoda Kotb. Sadly, in 2015, Frank passed away at the age of 84 from natural causes. Kathie Lee exited Today in 2019, with Jenna Bush Hager taking over for her and has since become a grandmother.
Her life has been quite full, but the big question would be whether she would ever find true love again. As it turns out, she has and is sharing the details. Now, in 2015, Kathie Lee was very strong on never getting married again. She was done and understandably so:
“I am not dating anybody right now, and I don’t want to date. I’m not looking, and I don’t think I’ll ever get married again.”
However, that seemingly changed when she met the right person. She did not state when it happened or who this man was, but it was magic. Sadly, Kathie Lee Gifford explained that she did not get her happily ever after as she had hoped:
“I had an opportunity for that to maybe happen, and it didn’t work out, so you move on. You stay friends if you can, and we have.”
Anything Is Possible
Eleven years after Kathie Lee Gifford lost Frank Gifford, she is leaving it up to fate and her faith. She will always maintain that he is the greatest love of her life. However, if by some miracle God would like to give her another great love such as Frank, she is not opposed. Yet, it does not appear that she is out there looking for someone. Now, their marriage was not perfect, as Frank had an alleged one-night stand. To Kathie Lee Gifford, she does not consider a one-night fling “cheating,” and moved on.
